![]() ![]() I was one some time ago, and it is very stressing to record a LP (with doing 2 to 4 things simultanly). Way better than YT-Videos, where some (most) of the YTers do not read the description properly and get stuck in the progress for 3 to 30 minutes.Īnd I do NOT blame the YTers. It changes the gamplay at the end of a mission massivley, so I think it is good, that they removed the old demo.īut I would appreciate a new demo also (even that I have the full game).ĭemos are ONE of the best selling points in gaming industry (also imho). thanks for the clarification □ Besides ofthe graphics, the most outdated feature is, that in the demo the recycling silos can recycle other recycling silos, which is no longer possible in the full game (a good change in my humble opinion). I don't think watching the game being played is the same thing, but if the demo didn't reflect how the game is now then it makes sense. While we may release an updated demo in the future, it isn't currently a top priority. Therefore, we have chosen to remove it, particularly considering the abundance of media available, such as streams and YouTube reviews, that showcase what the game is like now. It doesn't accurately reflect the current state of the full game. ![]() And the usability of parameter efficient fine-tuning techniques for LLMs like LoRA or (soft) prompt tuning is stunning and will further accelerate open-source initiatives.Originally posted by hyphenza:Hi there ! The demo has been online for nearly 2 years now, but it features outdated systems, design, and artwork. We see open-source model orders of magnitude small than GPT getting closer in performance. While the two Behemoths still dominate the game, the pace of open source regarding LLMs is fascinating. ![]() “The premise of the paper is that while OpenAI and Google continue to race to build the most powerful language models, their efforts are rapidly being eclipsed by the work happening in the open source community.” □ Simon Willison summarizes it as follows: This is the headline of an apparently leaked internal Google document claiming that open source will outcompete Google and OpenAI in the current LLM battle. ![]() Google "We Have No Moat, And Neither Does OpenAI" ![]()
